New 0-5km 10-week courses

What to do before you join:

  • Fill in the registration form at or before your your first session
  • Read the safety notice.
  • Ensure you have comfortable leggings or jogging bottoms for exercising in.
  • Wear layers - remember hat and gloves in the cold weather. You can take layers off as you warm up - it is also important not to overheat.
  • Make sure that you have trainers that are suitable for running in and that the laces are tightened appropriately.
  • If you need to, bring a small bottle of water with you to carry on the run (not essential in cold weather).
  • Wear a fluorescent jacket if you have one. We will run in all weather - rain, snow, wind - so make sure you are prepared.
  • Remember to carry any medicine with you e.g. inhaler and let the leader know if you suffer from an illness that may affect your running.
  • Join the Facebook group for your area - Welshpool, Shrewsbury, Bishops Castle, Llandrinio or Bridgnorth. If you are on Facebook then please do join the relevant group as you will find that the members can help with any questions you have and ladies will post about going out for additional runs at different times during the week.
